SCREENING & ASSESSMENT

Our Philosophy & Approach

Advocates of neurodiversity emphasise embracing the range of neurological differences as natural variations in brain function. Inclusion means refraining from stigmatising or labelling individuals based on their distinct genetic makeup and the unique way their neurons connect and function.

Our screening and comprehensive Psychoeducational Diagnostic Assessment, Evaluation and Profiling (PDAEP) determine the breadth and depth of learning disorders, emotional disturbances, affective disorders, sensory processing disorders, and difficulties your child may encounter. This enables us to identify the unique innate abilities of every child and adolescent before designing holistic, engaging, and highly effective individualised programmes.

With a deep understanding and appreciation of Asia’s diverse cultures, we aspires to establish itself as the most influential and credible therapy centre of research excellence in Asia.

Our educational therapy and intervention programmes address the symptoms and challenges arising from the followings:

PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL DIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENT, EVALUATION AND PROFILING

A comprehensive process that utilises a range of specialised tools and instruments to determine your child’s learning abilities and behavioural profile, encompassing sensory, adaptive, cognitive, and socio-emotional dimensions, identifying how your child learns best and the areas that present as challenges.

COGNITIVE ABILITIES ASSESSMENT

A set of brief screeners that looks at the underlying brain machinery including attention, memory, reasoning, planning, task initiation, meta-cognition, organisation, time management, motivation, self inhibition, cognitive flexibility and processing speed etc. It provides an understanding about where a child’s cognitive strengths lie and where extra scaffolding might help.
